Meet Candy Martin Yan!

Martin Yan is a Chinese born American chef who has made zillions of TV cooking shows since 1978 and written many cookbooks all about Asian cooking.  He is best known as the fun cheery host chopping things machine-gun fast with a cleaver on the PBS show "Yan Can Cook."  He once said that when he was in college he and his roommates used to watch Julia Child's cooking shows and he would joke he was going to become a TV chef.  I wonder how much harder they would have laughed if he'd said he was going to be a CANDY TV Chef?  I once saw Martin Yan setting up a demonstration table outside a grocery store and we said hi.  I know, it's not much of a story, but just remember, admission is free!
