Meet Candy Servais Le Roy!

He was born in Belgium in 1865 and had a very exciting life including running away from home to England as a boy and being adopted, and going on to have a decades-long career as a brilliant, innovative, world class magician who performed all over the world as a peer of the big boys--Houdini, Thurston, and Kellar!  He was married to Talma, the Queen of Coins, and actually let her perform with him--her!--his wife!--on stage with him!--as an equal!--even if she was cuter than him and was a complete distraction--!  You know, a modern day guy, say for example, just off the top of my head, one impersonating a great mind reader like Dunninger in a stage show, could really learn a lot from a guy like that, don't you think?  Ah, well, I'm just saying...
